Dragonfly Mushroom Lamp
A completely unique, handmade LED lamp. 5.25" tall by 4.5 inches wide, taking three AAA batteries.
Hand-sculpted mushrooms seem to grow through a forest floor of preserved leaves and twigs. This one has mostly valley oak and blue oak woodland forest floor, with an acorn, and includes a preserved dragonfly I found already dead in a pond a number of years ago.
If that's not enough, this lamp has a couple of secrets.
The mushrooms inside are also responsive to a UV or black light, fluorescing bright blue. After being exposed to any light (especially UV light) it glows quite brightly on it's own in complete darkness.
So you get a 3 way illumination effect, each in some way resembling the unique but unfortunately ephemeral properties of live glowing fungi.
This one will last forever, and makes a great bookshelf, desk, coffee table, or night stand piece.
