Polished Woolly Mammoth tooth fossil, set in hand fabricated sterling silver and 22k gold, hammered, burnished, and gently distressed to give character & age. Size 8.
I have been meaning to do a piece like this for a very long time, I'm not sure what took me so long, but these things always come in their own time I suppose. The warmth of true 22k gold contrasting with the blackened silver, and each drawing out the subtle tones of the mammoth tooth really fills my eye.
There's more to say on this one, it really came from the heart.
