Mexican Fire Opal Ring - Size 6.75
A poppy-orange Mexican Fire Opal, set in 22k gold, on a hand fabricated, hammered, and aged fine silver ring. There is some iridescent play of light in the stone that can be seen in certain kinds of light, such as diffuse afternoon sunbeams, but it mostly is beautifully clear and refractive, catching light and glowing.
This ring is a bold statement made with gentle materials. The gold is the hardest part of the ring. It should be worn with care, perhaps as a reminder to be gentle with yourself as well.
Fine silver, being softer than sterling, ages more gracefully, wearing softly like driftwood, instead of becoming dull with scratches that can't be polished out easily.
