The focal of this pendant is a polished dinosaur bone from southern Utah, set in a fully hand fabricated sterling silver pendant & bail. The bail features a silver ammonite, in keeping with the paleo theme, and the bottom of the pendant has copper granulation.
The bone itself is a rich mahogany color, with amber and lavender spiderwebbing, showing the beautiful preservation of the bone structure. It’s hung on an 18” black rolled leather cord with a sterling silver snap.
Be advised: The stone looks lighter in color to the human eye than it does to the camera, which was struggling to expose the silver, copper, and the stone at the same time. The pattern in the bone, and warm color of the copper are more visible in person.
