A mostly red Deer Creek fire agate, with nice play of color. Set in a hand fabricated sterling silver setting, with fine silver granulation. Price reduced due to covid.
I source fire agates miner direct, from a miner who also cuts his own stones, which I think is pretty cool.
They are in fact not agates, but an unusual type of chalcedony, found almost exclusively in Arizona. Fire agates are definitely rare collector’s stones.
1.8 cm long, on an 18” antique-finish brass chain.
