These beautiful, round, and smooth light gray/pastel iridescent pearls are natural, tissue-nucleated cultured pearls from Hyriopsis hybrid mussels raised in Lake Biwa, Japan.
These truly lovely pearls have slightly imperfect surfaces, in the form of natural imperfections and slight surface abrasions. Pearls are a natural gemstone created by a living thing, and many pearls are imperfect, but still beautiful and worth wearing.
