Giant Arkansas Quartz Specimen
This utterly outstanding Arkansas Giant Quartz specimen has been in my personal collection for a number of years. But since I have several similar specimens, I decided it was time for one of them to grace another person's home. I am releasing the largest one with the best points.
Photos don't really do it any justice, but they give a general sense of the size and quality. It has beautiful, almost metallic surfaces, and a frosty interior to lose yourself in. Almost perfectly clean points, and the bottom is equally interesting, so this is a really superb specimen.
Hefty enough to actually use as a book end; no joke. 6" at the widest, 5" at the thickest.
Quite the statement piece and natural history curio. I'll be sorry to see it go, but I can't keep everything interesting that crosses my desk. These are not the easiest specimens to find, I haven't seen any of this size or quality come up again since I first acquired them years ago.
